This WordPress site was created for Dr. Heather McLaughlin’s COMM 340 Multimedia Storytelling class at Olivet Nazarene University. The collection of multimedia stories and packages are a result of the students’ work throughout the semester, including the individual Peer Profiles.
It began after an extended Spring Break in 2020 where they were forced to work remotely–yet together–because of the coronavirus pandemic. Thus, the theme of the first set of multimedia stories: Coping with COVID19. Each group took one topic and produced stories connected to Olivet.
Since then, every semester the class produces a set of multimedia stories around a topic. Those can be found on the Multimedia Packages landing page.
