Olivet Introduces Saliva Testing Program

In order to adapt to the ever-changing circumstances that COVID-19 has brought, administrators at Olivet Nazarene University decided to move forward with a new saliva testing program, a.k.a. “Tiger Testing”, starting in January 2021. Their hope was that this program would enable them to stay one step ahead of the virus and to bring back a sense of normalcy for the students. Tiger Testing requires participation from all students and is optional for faculty and staff.

After almost four months of the program, we wanted to offer each of these groups a chance to share their perspectives on Tiger Testing. Below are stories highlighting the experiences of everyday students, student-athletes, faculty, and staff.

    Growing up in Ohio, I grew a love for media and television. With the support of my parents and two older brothers, I am pursuing towards a Multimedia Communications degree at Olivet Nazarene University. With in my first few months on campus, I started working for the SRMA (Student Run Marketing Agency) in the business department. Through this job, I've grown through my video, photography, and editing skills. I hope to keep growing through new oppertunities.
