What do Batman and Daredevil have in common? Elijah Lewis. Elijah is a combination of both of these superheroes in the way he carries himself and how he dedicates himself to his projects. Elijah is as unique as they come, from hating Tesla and Elon Musk to absolutely loving people and capturing them in his portrait work, he stays busy. There are so many words that can be used to describe him; Creative, loyal and charismatic are just a few that are well deserved. He’s eaten the world’s hottest pepper, more than once! Which is something Hugh Jackman would have some questions about I’m sure if Elijah was able to meet him. Elijah, if given the choice to meet anyone famous says that he would love to meet Hugh Jackman because he has some amazing movies, grew up with theater, and just overall seems like “a pretty cool guy”. Elijah is someone who you can’t help but feel connected to, he is down to Earth, his favorite color is blue (not just any blue, ocean blue), and he makes people feel special. He is loyal to a fault, and always ready for wherever the wind is trying to take him.
Engineer or Film?
Elijah was not always in the wonderful world of film, he first came to Olivet as an Engineering major, then realized that is not where his passion lies. He has always enjoyed the behind the scenes of film and wanted to dive a little deeper. He spends most of his free time capturing amazing pictures, spending time with his friends and traveling. He spent this last summer in Malawi Africa with Park View church and was able to capture amazing pictures, gain friendships and realize just how much he loves both traveling and capturing images to speak when words just can’t. Elijah is planning a weekend getaway to New York City as well as a film project that will take place in Iceland. When he is not traveling the world, you can find him in different coffee shops, enjoying the company of people and of course using the aesthetic to take some great pictures or being an amazing RA to the students in Hills!

Film for the Win!
“What do you want to be when you grow up?” This question we hear over and over again especially between the ages of 18-22. Some of us have answers, some don’t. Elijah Lewis knows exactly what his dream job would be. He wants to be behind the scenes, as a Cinematographer. He wants to combine his love for both travel and photography. He would love to work alongside National Geographic and BBC documentaries. As long as he gets to go everywhere and take pictures along the way, Elijah doesn’t care where exactly his path leads him. Elijah is ready to say who he is, and explain how he has been around the world, learning about different cultures and experiences. He knows exactly what National Geographic and BBC will need in the future. He is determined, bold and ready to take the film industry by storm.
