Jude Morris is a young adult who attends Olivet Nazarene University. He is a Film/TV Production major with a Poli Sci minor and in his free time, he enjoys various activities that are pleasing to Christ. Jude Morris was born in Germantown Hills, Illinois where he has lived for his entire life. Jude has five siblings back at home, he is the second oldest out of them all. He also has two dogs one being a boy named Perry and his sister Penny. Jude’s father was a pastor and he practically grew up in a church setting. He actively found enjoyment in his friends and family and took up a very early love for acting.

Jude attended Metamora high school where he would partake in several extracurricular activities such as choir, musicals, and plays. It was at this time that Jude began to notice a passion for what would become his future career. He never found sports enjoyable but does have a love for sports such as basketball. Even today he actively watches college sports and finds them engaging. It was also during this time that Jude would further strengthen his relationship with the lord. He had always had a religious upbringing but it wasn’t until this time that his faith truly blossomed into what it is today. One of the many things Jude would do during this time was being a mentor at Miracle Camp. It was here that he learned several leadership skills. He taught young boys about learning faith through Christ while still having fun. Most of these moments really impacted him and these lessons would stick with him. These many different lessons still impact his life and worldview today, far into his early adulthood.

In college, Jude would continue his extracurricular activities by finding a new passion in the form of improv. One of Jude’s biggest sources of enjoyment comes from his improv team. That’s not all that Jude is doing on campus. He also actively participates in the school’s gospel choir. He’s sung in several different events including sounds of the season. More recently Jude has also worked at the Miracle Camp and Retreat Center; the only job he’s ever had. Jude’s favorite thing to study here at Olivet is Film studies. He has directed several different works for the university. Including award-winning short films, an award-winning talent show, and several different music videos that have all contributed to his reputation as a skilled filmmaker. In the coming months, Jude plans to head to LA to study film. He hopes to grow this passion over time and looks forward to his future endeavors. One of Jude’s favorite things to do during his free time is to plan for further events. He often describes himself as “having no free time”. Despite this claim, Jude actively loves what he does and wouldn’t change a thing about his career.
