Meet Christina Wilson
As she walks towards Larson, with her classic gray headphones on her head, and red Miami sweatshirt on, she remembers the fun of winning intramurals. Christina Wilson is a sophomore majoring in Multimedia with a concentration in TV and Video Production at Olivet Nazarene University. Wilson is very involved in a variety of activities across campus, and is constantly busy with many different things to do.
With a strong service to others, and a passion to have fun and experience life with her friends, Wilson’s favorite memory at Olivet has been the victory that she and her team grabbed at intramurals.
“It was a lot of fun,” Wilson said, “It was a lot of work, but we got a win and these cool shirts for winning.”
In addition to her time on the field for intramurals, Wilson also participates in gospel choir, and also has a job working in the basement of Benner Library.
She works in the Informatics Department, and spends a lot of time there helping to keep Olivet running from that department.
Time Before Olivet
Wilson first heard about Olivet from her mother, an alum of the university. Through the many events Olivet holds, like Celebrate Life and church events, Wilson was exposed to the Olivet experience before she ever stepped foot on campus. Her siblings also attended Olivet, which gave her even more of a glance into student life.
“I was a little hesitant to go where my siblings were,” said Wilson, “But I ended up still coming and I am still here.”
Character Deep Dive
Wilson is an incredibly positive woman, and a visible daughter of God. Her peers have described her as receptive, uplifting, and reliable. She works hard, and with a positive attitude. Her words are meaningful and in abundance. Wilson is full of smiles and excitement, no matter if it’s a Monday or a Saturday.
“If I had to describe myself in one word,” said Wilson, “It would be ‘giggly.’”
“She is giggly,” Wilson’s sister, Sydnie, said, “but she is also headstrong. She sees what she wants, and she does it, with no nonsense about it.”
Wilson is driven to do her best, and have fun while doing it. She enjoys hanging out and working with others, and welcomes others to join in on her fun. She is extremely extraverted and brings joy to those that surround her.
Her Dream
Wilson’s dream is to edit large films and projects.
“It would be cool to see my name in the credits, even though nobody watches them,” she said, “That would be fun to do and pursue.”

In addition to film editing, Wilson also would like to, at some point, be a stay-at-home mom, and help teach and watch her family grow and be a part of their lives.
