Anna Kiehn. Coming To A Future Near You

It’s no secret to Christians today that mainstream media and Christianity don’t seem to mix well. While it may seem an unchangeable circumstance, Anna Kiehn is certainly an exception.

Anna is a second-semester senior studying Public Relations (PR) at Olivet Nazarene University. Anna first found her love for PR while she was a TV and video student, but after taking a PR class Anna realized that was where her real passion was. Growing up Anna was homeschooled by her mom in Naperville, IL. She enjoyed playing outside and playing make-believe with her Legos. It’s clear that Anna has always had an adventurous mind, as she later in life picked up the hobby of reading a good book, or more specifically indie comics filled with an immersive world of complex characters and deep lore’s. When Anna isn’t reading you can find her yet again exploring her creative and artistic mind with photography, a hobby she has gotten into as of late. Anna also has a love for painting, she says that she “likes the process of making something from nothing, you never know how it’s going to come out.” Anna’s list of creative pass-times goes on and on, but of course, Anna doesn’t do any of these things without God in the center of it all. It was apparent that when interviewing Anna that her true passion in life, aside from all else is living out her life with Jesus right by her side. “Jesus is the reason I’m here and really anywhere in life. I’m open to his leadership in my life” Anna told me when asked about what drives her every day. I asked Anna what her passion is in life and again she answered “I’m passionate about my faith, I have a relationship with Jesus and he’s a big part of my life. I continue to fall in love with Christ every day.”

One day if it’s in God’s plan, Anna wants to go into ministry professionally or non-profit work to help with their public relations. Anna explained how non-profits tend to struggle in their PR side of things and would love to turn that around for someone someday. Some of Anna’s dream jobs include being a stay-at-home mom with a happy marriage, being a successful YouTuber, or even being a full-time photographer. Anna plans to continue to follow Christ in whatever he has in store for her and trust his plan.
