Matthew Milo is a Junior equivalent at Olivet and comes with big ambitions and goals he has already started on. Matthew is currently enrolled as a Multimedia Communication major with no concentration. Matthew is like most Olivet students and is from the Chicagoland area, more specifically Matthew is from the downtown area of Chicago.
In his free time, Matthew likes to hang out with friends talking and playing sports like football. He also likes to play simulation games on Xbox with his friends and is currently trying to learn how to play poker with Andrew Ehrler as his mentor. However, his favorite passion is still football.

God has been with him every step of the way.
Matthew Milo has had an interesting turnaround in his life ever since he has met God. From middle school through partway of his college career Matthew dealt with addiction in the form of Marjuana usage. This addiction to him was a: “huge struggle” and was partially controlling his life. However, coming to Olivet Nazarene University not only allowed him to receive a degree but also, change his life for the better. Matthew relates this to two main reasons. First the openness and friendliness of his new friends after transferring to ONU. However, the main reason is due to a tradition that is often overlooked by ONU students and that is Revival. Revival in his eyes was able to “help find who (he) was” and being able to use his struggle as a way to be more with Christ.
Both Olivet and Communication weren’t his first choice.
Over Matthew’s college career, he has looked into many different colleges with Olivet only coming into view after already starting college. Matthew started at the University of Dubuque however, that was not his favorite college due to how far he was from home and, how much they cost. It wasn’t until he discussed things with his youth leader that he found Olivet.
After hearing about the numerous financial aid opportunities at ONU, Matthew decided to enroll at ONU. However, Matthew decided that at first he wanted to try being a sports management major because he thought being a communication major may not help him in his future career. However, after taking one accounting class that was difficult for him, he talked to his advisor who recommended that he try to receive a degree in Communication and still try to reach his goals.

Matthew is reporting already!
Matthew is running and reporting on his own WordPress-based blog and on TikTok! Matthew posts articles about all things football on every team but, he likes to emphasize his blog on the Chicago Bears. Currently he is trying to learn more about how market himself and his website while still making content and running the blog on his own. Although the blog is still in development Matthew hopes that blog will eventually be able to hit the web and become one of the biggest blogs about football.
